01 / Count the set
Forty-two does not mean forty-two pickups
The collectible layout is three in each of the ten original campaign missions, plus nine spread through the three new missions. The full set combines 26 returning Skulls and 16 new ones.
02 / Unlock Remix
Any three collectible Skulls are enough
Campaign Remix unlocks after you collect any three Skulls. The official material does not require a specific trio. At that point, three additional modifiers become available:
Adaptation
Randomizes enemy factions in the mission.
Reload
Randomizes pre-placed weapons.
Armistice
Enemy factions stop fighting one another.
03 / Remix loop
Replay completed missions under altered rules
- Select a completed Campaign or Operation: METEORITE mission.
- Roll a visibility state: no change, Spore Visibility, or Nightvision.
- Keep or curate the other discovered Skull modifiers.
- Play with randomized enemies and weapon placements, then reroll for another route.
Adaptation, Reload, and Armistice are enabled by default in Remix. The official guide says the visibility result can be adjusted, so the initial roll is not necessarily a permanent commitment.
04 / Collection plan
Use a route log, not an unverified map
This page intentionally does not publish Skull locations: the official source confirms counts and rules, but it is not a location walkthrough. Track each mission as 0/3, 1/3, 2/3, or 3/3. Unlock Remix at the first three, then decide whether your goal is experimentation or all 39 collectibles.
